Important information

Role of captains

The captain plays an important role during the competition. He/she is the first point of contact for the competition leader and for opponents. The captain's most important task is to ensure that the team is complete (possibly with substitutes). The captain also ensures that the results are completed correctly and on time and that the team's bar service is provided. The competition leader gives a briefing to the captains prior to the competition so that they are aware of their tasks and responsibilities.

Role of competition leaders

The Association Competition Leaders (VCL) of TPC Gaasperpark ensure that the competition runs smoothly. They invite the opponents, make the track layouts and are often present at the park during competition days. The provisional VCLs during the fall competition are Donata, Duncan and Clyde.

Bar services competition teams

All competition teams are expected to provide one bar service as a team during the competition days. A competition team bar service lasts one half day. For the Saturday teams, the service falls on Sunday or Friday evening. For the Friday evening and Sunday teams, the service falls on Saturdays. This service cannot be purchased and does not count as a replacement for a regular bar service. The schedule for bar services is drawn up by the bar committee and will be announced together with the competition program.

Registration for Spring Competition

Registrations for the next competition - the KNLTB Spring Competition 2024 - will start on December 1, 2023. All members of TPC Gaasperpark will be informed about this via the newsletter.
