Technical commission

GoalThe Technical Committee is responsible for devising, developing and carrying out activities in which all members of Strandvliet can actively and enthusiastically participate.

The club's technical policy must offer sufficient opportunities for both recreational and competitive players, young and old. The Technical Committee is constantly working on making existing tournaments more attractive, but also on setting up new events. The Technical Committee is also responsible for the smooth running of the KNLTB competitions (spring, autumn and winter) and they are the first point of contact for all tennis matters of the association. To ensure everything runs smoothly, the Technical Committee maintains intensive contact with the board and other relevant committees.

Because the club also offers padel at the new location, the committees are looking to expand with people who are enthusiastic about padel and want to use their knowledge and experience for the club.

Youth Committee

GoalThe youth policy must create the conditions to fascinate, entertain and bind youth members to the association. The Youth Committee organizes and coordinates activities to this end, taking into account recreational and performance tennis and padel!

The main focus of the Youth Committee at the moment is to attract more youth members. This will be done by giving tennis lessons with the trainer at nearby schools and then making an offer to the youth to become members. Furthermore, the Youth Committee aims to involve youth members in organizing tournaments and activities, with the aim of involving youth more in the club.

Barcommissie

GoalThe Bar Committee ensures that all members can enjoy a drink and a snack in our canteen in a responsible manner. The Bar Committee regulates the purchasing and maintenance of the stock of items to be sold and determines the sales prices. The latter must be approved in advance by the board. The Management Committee is also responsible for setting up a schedule for canteen services.

PR/Sponsor Committee

The aim of the Sponsor Committee is to generate additional income to implement the plans of the committees (approved by the board). In addition to contracting new sponsors, the Sponsorship Committee maintains relationships with existing sponsors. She is also responsible for the sale of advertisements on the website and the sale of billboards and cloths along the tracks.

Editorial committee

Goal The goal of the Editorial Committee is to publish a periodic newsletter, maintain the website and the Facebook page. The Editorial Committee aims to ensure good communication between the board and members. The content mainly consists of board announcements, reports of matches and tournaments and the announcement of upcoming events.

Audit committee

ObjectiveThe Audit Committee checks the treasurer's financial reporting every year prior to the annual meeting. During the general meeting of members, the Audit Committee reports its findings on the financial situation of the association to the members.
